Birthday Fun!!

There have been a lot of birthday celebrations going on this past weekend and there will be even MORE birthdays to celebrate later this week. How fun!!

On Saturday evening, my wonderful husband got his parents to come over and watch the kids while he took me out to dinner and on a little shopping mini-spree in honor of my birthday!! We had dinner at a new restaurant called "Crave". (Click HERE if you want to see their website.) It was so good and it's my new favorite place to go. (If you're ever in the area, you've got to try it. Everything we had was delicious!!)

On Sunday, two little girls in our neighborhood were having a rock star-themed birthday party and they invited us to attend. I swear, they really thought of everything!! They had temporary tattoos, colored hairspray, a live musician that had the kids dancing for an hour, cool rock star glasses, and even a CD of the girls' favorite music to give out as party favors!! (Yes, we now officially listen to Hannah Montana in our house!!)

Here is Caleb in his "Big Brothers Rock" T-shirt (which is about as rock'n'roll as we get in this house), his cool guitar glasses and his purple hair! He had gold glitter sprayed in his hair, too!


In the party favor bag, the girls also gave Caleb some PopRocks. This was the look on Caleb's face when he tried them for the first time:


Hannah had some, too, but her face wasn't as funny. She made no big reaction but then whined until we gave her more. I think we created a couple of PopRocks Monsters!! :)
