Best mom in the world....

Well, the title, as you may expect is about ME! Totally kidding! While I am NOT the best mom in the world, by any means, my daughter certainly makes me feel like I am. Anyone who has ever had a 5-month old probably knows what I'm talking about. I can be doing anything at all---talking on the phone, scolding her brother, singing a silly song---and I'll look over at her and there she is, giving me the biggest grin and telling me with her eyes that I am an awesome person. I have my days where I feel like I can't do anything right and that I don't even know what the heck I'm doing as a parent, but when I see the smile of my baby girl or hear her laugh at a really dorky face that I am making, it is ALL worth it.


On a completely opposite note, my two-year old told me yesterday to "Get out and stay out". I was a little surprised until I found out that he learned it during a "fire safety" talk at preschool. Unfortunately, Caleb is really using this phrase to his advantage.....
