Blue Big Blanket

That may be a weird title, but "Blue Big Blanket" is a phrase that I say about 10 times a day. That is the name of Caleb's "blankie" that he absolutely adores and cannot live without. The background of this blanket begins even before Caleb was born. One of my best friends and I were walking through a baby boutique before we even were thinking about having children. There, in that store, we found the softest, most adorable baby blankets. The brand is "Little Giraffe" and they are to die for! We vowed to buy one for each other when we each got pregnant with our first born children. That bargain was up-held and thus, Caleb has fallen in love with his "bunga" (as he used to call it). This blanket doesn't necessarily go everywhere with us, but it's a nice security for Caleb when he is sleeping or hanging out at home. Since Caleb's imagination is WILD, here is a list of just a few things this blanket has become:

necklace
bag
christmas tree
robe

ball
drapes over his head “i look so cute!”
horn (put the corner of the blanket by his mouth and was “blowing the horn”)
wagon
umbrella
sock (draped it over my feet)

I'm sure you will read more in the future about Caleb's wonderful imagination and the silly things he comes up with, but for now, his ideas of what his blankie can be are mind-blowing!
