The Great Pumpkins

It's 4 days until Halloween and we just went to get our pumpkins last night. (We're a little behind this year on that, but that's okay, right?) We went to our favorite nursery/garden center, Gerten's. It's close to our house and HUGE so they always have everything we need all year round. (Does that sound like a Gerten's commercial, or what?) Anyhoo, here are a few pictures from our evening:

Caleb reminded us over and over that we needed to also get some "little pumpkins for inside". He ended up really falling in love with all the different gourds and picked out about 8 of them to take home...

Gerten's had all of their Christmas stuff out, as well. Hannah ran around all of the fake/lit up Christmas trees and shouted "Christmas! Christmas!" for about 10 minutes straight. (The few customers that were there at that time and the employees were really getting a kick out of her.) When Hannah walked into the aisle with all the lit up Christmas lights (every color and kind you could imagine!), she said "Woooooooooow!" :)

Hannah's favorite Christmas lights were the purple ones...

Caleb loved hitching a ride on Daddy's cart. (And the pumpkins make a great foot-rest, apparently.) Can you see how BIG those pumpkins are? Carving them will be quite an experience!! (82 pounds of pumpkin between the two that we picked.)

Are those wine coolers on the cart? :)

No! Haha---they're sparkling cider. Just like the kind you'd buy in a wine-type bottle, but these are individual. :)

Those pumpkins are HUGE! Love the pics of the store (especially how excited Hannah was for the lights) and also liked the pics of the live show too! I guess we will have to start going to those!
