TOO HOT!!

Today our outdoor thermometer reads 112.2 degrees. Okay, it's not really that hot but it's in the high 80's at least. (Our thermometer happens to be on a metal surface so it always reads higher than actual temps outside...hehe....). While it's almost too hot to be outside running around, we did spend some quality time enjoying Caleb's little blow-up pool. We went outside when Hannah was napping, so as not to expose the red-headed baby to the mega-sunshine. Caleb was the official "swimmer", I was the official "bug catcher" (which involved getting the bugs out of the pool when Caleb noticed them), and Chris was the official "lemonade maker". All in all, it was a great time and we all came inside a little more pink than we were this morning. :) (No tans in this house, apparently!)

Little did we know that Jack would enjoy the pool the most....




I'm surprised the pool didn't pop with Jack scratching at his ball the whole time. I give the pool a week of life before we have to throw it away and get a new one... :)
