Easter Fun: Part 2

This past Sunday was a very busy Easter! Not only did the Easter Bunny make a stop at our house, but he was also a busy bunny and stopped at Grandma's house, and Uncle Jon's house, too!!

We had to get up extra early on Sunday so the kids could find their baskets before we got ready for church. They were happy campers at 6:30am!!

We started dressing in our Sunday best when the morning took a turn for the worst. Hannah decided that she wanted to do her own hair, but didn't know that the hair-straightener in my bathroom was hot. Needless to say, she grabbed it and got quite a burn on her right hand. Not bad enough for a visit to the E.R. but bad enough to make me feel VERY guilty. We tried to make her pain go away, but everyone knows how badly burns hurt. We ended up skipping church because we didn't think Hannah would be up for it, and headed over to my in-laws' house instead.

Hannah cuddled with Daddy for a bit and let him blow on her hand...

...but the biggest "pain-relief" for Hannah was when Grandma and Grandpa gave the green-light for the kids to find their eggs and baskets.

"Burn? What burn?"

Can you tell that Caleb is just a little bit excited about finding his eggs???

The kids looked so cute in their Easter outfits this year:

After brunch at my in-laws' house, we headed over to my brother's house for more Easter festivities. Yep, you guessed it--the Easter Bunny made a stop there, too!! Talk about LOTS OF EGGS!! (Although, I'm pretty sure the kids are opening eggs that were meant for seven people and not just two....)

Caleb had to pose with the light-up gun toy that the E.B. left for him. I tried to get him to do a Charlie's Angel pose, but Chris vetoed that...

I just thought this last picture was a cute one of Caleb and his "buddy" looking out at the wildlife:

I hope all of you had a fabulous Easter. Thank you, Lord, for giving us a wonderful reason to celebrate: the Resurrection of your son!! Praise the Lord!
