Oh, My Darlin'

Today as we were driving home from swimming lessons (which is a whole other story in itself!), Caleb was humming a tune that sounded a lot like the song "Clementine". So, being the annoying mother that I am, I started belting out, "Oh, my darlin'! Oh, my darlin'! Oh, my dar---"

"MOM!" Caleb said. "Stop singing!"

So, I stopped. Caleb continue to hum the tune, and a minute later said something pretty cute. He said, "Ugh! Mom, the song you were singing just plopped right into my head and it wasn't invited!" He complained about having that song in his head for a good five minutes before I could come up with a more annoying, but "invited" song, to get in his head. :)
