Pretty Like a Princess!

Hannah got a really fun treat last weekend: she was invited to a "big girl" birthday party! Our niece, Kyla, turned nine this month, and for her party, she invited friends to the local beauty school to get their hair and nails done. She was nice enough to invite some of her "little" cousins, too, so Hannah got to join in on the fun!! She's never gotten her hair cut or had her nails painted by anyone other than me before, so this was a new experience altogether. She sat very nice and still in the beauty chair, and even sat still while she got her nails painted. It makes me hopeful that I'll be able to take her to get her nails painted again soon---maybe for a mother/daughter pre-baby date? We'll see!
