Francis Scott Key

In April, Caleb had his spring program for preschool. They did a patriotic theme this year with many of the kids portraying prominent figures from US history and singing many patriotic songs. Caleb got a starring role: he played Francis Scott Key!!



He looked through his "telescope and saw Betsy Ross's flag waving proudly. It inspired him to write a poem. You know it: 'The Star Spangled Banner'." (His line also inspired the audience to laugh and applaud, which was so fun!!)

Hannah had such a great time.....that she fell asleep. :)


This was the last preschool program we will have for over a year, since Caleb will no longer BE in preschool and Hannah is not taking any preschool classes next year. It's a little bittersweet for me... :/
