I'm sure I've mentioned this before but my older kiddos have a real love/hate relationship these days. Part of it is that they are both starting to have their own interests and hobbies and while they want the other one to participate with them, they don't want to do what the other wants to do. (Does that make sense?) This is where I say "hooray" to them having their own rooms because they can keep their special toys separate instead of putting them with all the toys our playroom. They also like different TV shows now---Hannah likes the more "girlie" shows, while Caleb wants to watch the more "boyish" shows. Their difference in hobbies, TV shows and even books leads to sometimes constant arguing about who's turn it is to choose or who has been doing what for how long. Sometimes, I think that I just can't take it anymore and will they just stop arguing for a minute so I can have some peace? About then is when I notice that they have agreed on something and I find them like this:
See? They really do love each other. :) I even caught this adorable moment a few days ago when it was much too quite in my house and I thought, "What are those kids getting into now?"
Not getting into trouble---just watching a clip of something on the computer. All three sitting in one chair....now that's love. :)
